■ Role Description (EMC Technician)

As a EMC Technician, you will be a vital member of our testing and certification laboratory team. You will contribute to the successful completion of various EMC testing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your role will involve hands-on work in a laboratory environment, working closely with engineers and technicians to conduct a variety of EMC measurements and tests.

■ Functions and Responsibilities

· Set up and configure EMC test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.

· Prepare test environment and fixtures according to specific test procedures.

· Conduct EMC measurements and tests on various electronic devices, such as wireless communication devices.

· Collect and record accurate test data and analyze test results and compare them to established standards.

· Perform routine maintenance and calibration of EMC test equipment.

· Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.

· Prepare detailed test reports, documenting test procedures, results, and any anomalies. Maintain accurate records of test and equipment calibration.

· Assist engineers in troubleshooting and developing test plans. And participate in technical discussions and contribute to problem-solving.

■ Qualifications

· Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering technology or a related field is preferred but not required.

· Prior hands-on experience in wireless device compliance testing is a plus but not necessary.

· Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.

· Proficiency in using computers and software applications.

· A strong interest in learning about RF technology.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Positive and proactive attitude.
